a peculular purple python whispers softly in my head he dances through my dreams as I lay asleep in bed he tells me that he loves me that only he can make me whole while he dances with the demons in the shadows of my soul the snake is in the apple tree coiled around its lowest limb with gentle calm persuasion he convinces me to follow him he takes me to the chapel where a serpent guards the door he bows his head before the cross and pisses on the floor he takes me to the garden where poppys, ferns, and orchids grow where the dandelions shed their seeds as gentle breezes start to blow then the snake consumes a mushroom which he found among the cyprus trees he then proceeds to vomit on a book of ancient prophecies and now the snake is in a trance in which he sets his mind completely free his body floats above the floor on a wave of psychic energy the sky turns dark as night and the oceans turn to blood and the walrus says a final prayer while drowning in the psychic flood the sky is full of crystals and the sea is full of beads the chapel drips with acid and the garden's full of weeds for hippo and the butterfly to survive against the odds they must build and alter on the hill and worship strange perverted gods the snake begins to shudder as his powers start to fade he twitches and convulses in a psychedelic rage then his trance is broken and the snake falls to the ground and the earth returns to normal without a movement or a sound as I lay awake in bed I know that morning's coming soon and the snake flys out the window and drifts towards the moon
